Share What You Love and Teach a Class at the Center for the Arts!

Are you an artist, maker, performer, or creative thinker with a skill to share?

We’re inviting you to teach a class in your medium, your craft, your passion!

At the Center for the Arts, we celebrate creativity in all its forms. Whether you're a painter, sculptor, dancer, musician, photographer, writer, actor, or something totally unique; if you’re passionate about what you do and want to teach others, we want to hear from you.

Why Teach With Us?

  • A Welcoming Space:  We support artists at all stages, including first-time teachers.

  • Flexible Formats: Offer a single workshop or a multi-week class.

  • Creative Freedom: Teach your style, your subject, your way.

Compensation and Responsibilities:

  • Instructors can expect to earn a standard rate for the area.

  • CFA will provide advertising, space, general materials, and support assistance for the programs.

  • Instructors must provide proof of a background check (if working with individuals under 18yrs old), a detailed program outline, and a materials list. CFA will create templates and offer help in designing programs if needed.

Program and Registration Details:

  • Classes will require preregistration, ideally attracting enough participants to be self-sustaining.

  • CFA understands it may take time for new programs to acquire full enrollments and will work with artists for a mutually agreeable participation maximum.

The CFA does not provide personal liability insurance to instructors. The CFA has insurance that covers the Creative Space. Please consider how this impacts you.
