Our Mission

The Center for the Arts' goal is to enrich lives by supporting, promoting, and connecting literary, performance, and visual artists of all ages to our communities.
Joining the board and/or a committee is a great way to support the arts, meet other art-enthusiasts, and make a powerful impact in a growing organization. ​
Board Positions
If you are interested in becoming a board member send your letter of interest and resume to info@cfanh.org. Someone will be in touch about the available positions and the nominating process once your information is received. Thank you for considering a position with the CFA!

Expectations
​
The Center for the Arts Lake Sunapee Region (CFA) is looking for board members from the following towns in the Lake Sunapee Region, Andover, Bradford, Danbury, Grantham, New London, Newbury, Newport, Springfield, Sunapee, Sutton, Warner, and Wilmot.

Board members attend monthly board meetings the second Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30 pm, three in person meetings on a second Monday during the day in June, September, and December. Members also join one committee, support and attend events as able, and contribute to the organization by being a member (minimum). ​

The CFA is a Fun Community
The CFA has opportunities for committee members to make a difference in the arts and our community.
Committees: The CFA has multiple committees and is looking to grow the Arts Education, Visual Arts, Family, and Performing Arts committees. These groups meet as needed to work on specific projects for the CFA, often programs or events. Each committee member works on a specific aspect of preparing or planning for the activity and works as a team to accomplish their goals.
For example, the Music Committee works together on specific music related events, connects or shares information with other musicians, and helps at committee events.
These are great ways to be involved without committing to a long-term position with the board. If you are interested or would like more information, please email info@cfanh.org.
