January 2026 Exhibition
Creative Dialogue - Works from the CFA Critique Groups
Exhibition Dates: January 15 - February 28
Opening Reception: January 17, 3pm-5pm at the Center for the Arts Gallery - 428 Main Street, New London
Creative Dialogue showcases the diverse and evolving practices of artists participating in the
Center for the Arts’ monthly Critique Groups. Featuring works by CFA Members Ana Maria Ash,
Deborah Bacon, Carol Belliveau, Sara Byfield, Doug Carey, Elizabeth D'Amico, Donald Elliott,
Barry Fougere, Jill Hacking, Jack Harkins, Karen Haskell, Penny Koburger, Vicki Koron, Lucy
Mueller, Mark O'Neil, Chris Scott, Yvonne Shukovsky, Alan Shulman, Rick Stockwell, Alison
Vernon, and Roger Wells, this exhibition highlights a wide range of perspectives, subjects, and
mediums. Together, these artworks illustrate how conversation and collaboration can deepen
individual expression, highlighting the essential role that community plays in
sustaining creative practice.
