About the Exhibition

For nine years, Naturally New England has celebrated the beauty, character, and creative spirit of our region through art and photography.

​

Presented by the Center for the Arts, this annual juried exhibition brings together talented artists from across New England for a showcase of original work inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, architecture, and places that define our shared experience.

​

This year's exhibition invites visitors to explore not only what New England looks like, but how it feels. Through artwork that captures memory, mood, connection, and a sense of place.

This Year's Theme

Serenity

Quiet moments when the land seems to breathesnow-covered fields, early morning light, fog over lakes, and landscapes that convey stillness, calm, and contemplation.

Joy

The warmth, color, and vitality of New England’s seasonsvibrant autumn foliage, spring blossoms, sunlit summer landscapes, and scenes that evoke energy, delight, and celebration.

Roots

Places shaped by time and memoryweathered barns, village streets, harbors, stone walls, and landscapes that reflect the enduring character and deep sense of belonging found throughout New England.

Celebrate the opening of the 9th Annual Naturally New England Art & Photography Show. Meet exhibiting artists, explore the exhibition, and enjoy an evening of art, conversation, and community.

FAQ

What is a juried exhibition?

A juried exhibition features artwork that has been submitted and reviewed by a juror before being selected for inclusion in the show.

Is admission free?

Yes. The Naturally New England Art & Photography Show, Sneak Preview, and Opening Reception are free and open to the public.

Is artwork available for purchase?

Yes. Original artwork from participating artists is available for purchase throughout the exhibition while pieces remain available.

Can I take purchased artwork home the same day?

Yes. Purchased artwork may be taken home at the time of purchase.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept major credit and debit cards. Cash is not accepted.

What happens if a piece of artwork is purchased early in the exhibition?

To maintain a full exhibition throughout Arts Week, reserve artwork will be displayed as purchased pieces are removed.

Where is the exhibition located?

The exhibition is held at The Livery in Sunapee Harbor, New Hampshire.

Is the exhibition family-friendly?

Yes! Visitors of all ages are welcome to enjoy the exhibition.

Can I view the exhibition online?

Yes. Alongside the physical exhibition at The Livery, Naturally New England will feature an online virtual exhibition showcasing each accepted artwork.

May I take photographs during my visit?

Yes. Personal photography is welcome. Please be respectful of other visitors and avoid touching the artwork.

Can I vote for my favorite artwork?

Yes! Visitors are invited to vote for the People's Choice Award in each of this year's exhibition themes. 

Artist Drop-Off Schedule

  • $20 hanging fee due upon drop-off

  • Fee waived when you volunteer for one 4-hour gallery shift

  • Volunteers help keep the exhibition open throughout its 9-day run

  • Artwork must be completely dry and securely wired for hanging
