ree

Nicole Densmore first picked up a flute at the age of eight and played it without any instruction. Soon she began performing with her parents at Saturday evening Mass. She attended The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY, earning her Bachelors of Science in Music Education and Flute performance. Subsequently, Nicole received an MBA at Plymouth State University in Integrated Arts. She has enthusiastically taught music to area elementary school students for eighteen years as well as offered private lessons in woodwinds and piano. Since 2001, Nicole has served as the adjunct flute instructor at Colby-Sawyer College, and she has continued to perform as a soloist in area churches and to play collaboratively with Folk Fusion, Landaya African Rhythm Ensemble, the Lake Sunapee Area Flute Choir, and Silver and Cedar, a flute and guitar duo.
