New London, NH: Artificial intelligence continues to transform the world as we know it.
Industries around the globe are redeveloping at a rapid speed, the literary world is no exception.
Join us for an honest and eye-opening panel discussion “AI in the Literary World,” on Monday,
June 16, from 6:30-7:30 PM at Whipple Hall.
Facilitated by Dena Stahlheber, this panel brings together three powerful voices in storytelling and technology: Masheri Chappelle and W.D. “Bill” Shipley. Together, they will example the practical, ethical, and moral implications of Ai in writing – from co-authoring tools and story prompts to questions about originality, authorship, and the soul of storytelling itself.
Masheri Chappelle, a novelist, playwright, and Chair of the New Hampshire Writers’ Project, is the award-winning author of The Oracle Files: Escape and The Descendant. With a background in data analytics and intuitive storytelling, Chappelle brings a unique blend of logic and spirit to the conversation.
W.D. Shipley, author of M.A.I.A. (Manufacturing Artificial Intelligence Agency), combines
dystopian fiction with business acumen, drawing from over 15 years in sales and marketing. His recent experimentation with AI-assisted audiobook production opens a practical window into how creatives can work with, not against, emerging technologies.
Whether you are a writer, reader, or simply curious about AI’s place in human storytelling, this is a conversation you will not want to miss.
