Artist Statement:

My art probably will not change your life, but it might make you pause and remember that there is beauty all around us. My paintings are created in a representational style of painting letting each piece evolve with depth of color, shapes and light. My favorite art is capturing the beauty of nature. From a brilliant blue sky, sunlight, puffy clouds, sparking water, floral gardens or a magical sunrise or sunset.

New England landscapes are my favorite things to paint. I am never without nature's beauty just waiting to be captured on canvas. My ultimate goal is that my paintings will give you pause to take in the beauty if only for a brief moment.I hope that my art brings you as much joy as I have creating it.

Artist Bio:

My art career did not start until after I raised my children and left a full time career in Dental Hygiene and then real estate. Life had been busy remodeling homes and teaching classes at my small boutique craft store. Always loving art I got the bug to learn to paint and took my first art class. From that time forward I was hooked. During the past few years I have had the great privilege to take classes with some of the best well know artist in the area. I love oil painting and living in New England. There is always so much to capture on canvas. Currently, I have work in Galleries, juried shows and commission paintings. I love and strive to paint in a representational style. I hope that my pieces bring you as much joy as I have creating them. My art probably will not change your life, but it may make you pause and remember that there is beauty all around us. Sometime it is the simplest of nature caught on canvas that touches our lives is a very meaningful way.
