New London, NH – There is something truly magical about being in the Northeast this time of year. Step in from the cold and enjoy the cozy atmosphere inside the Center for the Arts (CFA) while creating something unique for yourself or your loved ones this December. There is something for everyone at all different stages and ages—printmaking, fiber arts, and painting!
Our Upcoming December Classes:
Printmaking Without a Press for Beginners: Creating Your Own Holiday Cards and Wrapping Paper with Pam Smith
December 6, 10am–12:30pm
Learn how to block print while creating something extra special and homemade for the holidays.
Beginner Needle Felting with Laura Catsos
December 7, 1–5pm
Learn the basics of 3D needle felting by crafting a festive friend out of wool roving!
Painting in Acrylics for Youth with Alison Vernon
December 9 & 11, 3:30–5pm
This class for middle and high school students will explore essential techniques, brushes, color mixing, and composition.
Slow Stitch Hand Embroidery Circle with Leigh Tappen
December 13, 9am–12pm
Allow your creativity to flow during this relaxing hand sewing class with needle and thread.
Ornament and Garland Workshop with Leigh Tappen
December 14, 1–3pm
Celebrate the season with sparkle and color by hand painting an ornament and creating garland.
Paint Your Pet! — Paint an Acrylic Pet Portrait with Alison Vernon
December 16, 1–3:30pm
Learn portrait composition, color mixing, layering, and finishing techniques while painting a pet portrait of your cat, dog, or other companion.
