Literary Artist Guild

Simon re-writes and tells folk and fairy tales, myths and legends for everyone who wants to listen. From children’s stories retold so even the most jaded adult enjoys the show, to performances for grown-ups which can be funny, poignant, and/or bawdy, depending on what you need or want, live and in-person, or virtual. Simon produces high quality live broadcasts and films, and continues to explore and work with technology. Simon states "

Classically trained as an artist in my home state of Louisiana, my work often touches on nature and the feminine. Art, along with writing and other creative work, celebrates the things in light and in shadow, things conquered and celebrated. All creative processes are meditative, and have been trusted friends since childhood. Expressing oneself brings joy, and I strive to create daily.

I work in acrylic, oil, watercolor, pencil, pen and ink, and create collages with graphic design software. I am also a fiction author.

Mary is an illustrator and graphic designer for Echo Communications in NH. Also, The co-author and illustrator of the children's book Sally and Roy and the Impossible Toy.

Tracy Wood, a retired English teacher and local writer, will lead the sessions with an emphasis on the writing process.
